Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

What a year 2025 has been – and thank you to all of our dedicated and loyal customers for taking time to visit and support our small farm! Every visit, purchase, like and share on social media is helpful in making sure that we are able to continue providing a place for generations of families to spend their summers making memories that will last a lifetime. We are so grateful for the ways in which you have been a part of our blueberry farm.

If you were able to visit the farm this year, you likely saw the banner “Celebrating 50 years”. 2025 marks the 50th year that the Willis family has been operating the farm on this property. In 1975 the matriarch of the family, Thompson Willis, know by so many as “Tom”, purchased the 130+ acres that we now use to harvest blueberries today. At the time the property had no running water, no electricity and no driveway. Tom and Penny spent years of their lives building the farm we now get to share with so many of you.

We continue the hard work that Tom and Penny started so many years ago through year round pruning, planting and maintenance of the farm and equipment. In 2025 we were able to prune all 30 acres of blueberries, planted approximately 2,400 new baby blueberry plants – first crop tentatively set for 2028. Additionally, we replaced 350 blackberry plants in Patch 9. Our hope is that 2026 will be our first season to pick in Patch 9 on some of our more mature blackberry plants!

As we approach the end of 2025 we find ourselves reflecting on the many blessings of this past year, and it is with heartfelt sincerity that we extend our prayers to you, hoping that the Lord’s abundant blessings will be upon you and your family during this Christmas season and in the upcoming year ahead.

Merry Christmas, and God Bless!

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men.
