Last, but not least, this has been an incredible season. We have been so truly blessed with a wonderful crop, the weather stayed tolerable up until the very end, and we have been so thrilled to see many familiar faces from years past and a bunch of new faces too! Thank you for sharing your summer with us. We are so grateful for your support and business. It brings our family so much joy to be able to share the farm with other families and so thank you for being a part of the summer memories out here at The Berry Patch!

We pray every one of you has a blessed 2023 and beginning of 2024! See you next year!

Family Announcement:

On Tuesday, May 2nd, we said goodbye to our beloved, Penny Willis as she went to her Heavenly home to be with Jesus. Penny was the wife to Thompson Willis, mother to David, Josh and Grace, and grandmother of two. She and Tom founded The Berry Patch in 1975, 48 years ago. Penny was well known among so many of our customers and within our community for her contagious smile and friendly demeanor. She made newcomers feel as if she had been expecting them for some time, and welcomed yearly visitors as if they were part of her own family. Those who knew her well frequently commented on her kind nature, her hard work ethic, and her love for Jesus.

Over the years Penny created a place where family and friends could come to eat freshly picked produce while enjoying the outdoors and making memories that last a lifetime. She worked tirelessly to give the farm a charm that cannot be found elsewhere. Her dedication and commitment to The Berry Patch was unmatched. She was an inspiration and leaves behind a legacy that we hope to continue sharing with others for many years to come.

I have called several times and left messages, but you have not taken the time to return my calls so I thought I would try e-mail. We used to have a blueberry patch and purchased irrigation supplies from you. We closed our blueberry operation several years ago, but still have the irrigation system to water our garden and flowers etc. We need some supplies for items that have broken. Do you still sell irrigation supplies?

Hi Mary, I apologize that we did not get back with you. I had seen one missed call for irrigation but in the chaos of preparing for opening the last two weeks I seemed to have misplaced the note. I am sorry.

What parts are you looking for? The irrigation business Tom used to run is no longer operating, however we do still have some equipment left, although most of it goes to our own irrigation. If you let me know what you are looking for I can have my husband look for it.

      Thank you

      My cell is 816-679-2755

We had a wonderful time picking berries yesterday. Delicious muffins and refreshing blueberry lemonade. I forgot to ask which type of blueberries are your plants?

You should put a map up of your farm of the layout for patches so people can figure out where the back patches are since no one that works there is back there to help guide.
